I'm not a huge fan of the New Year celebration, I'll be honest. I've never had a successful time trying to celebrate, so I am way more content to just hang out in my PJs, eat pizza and go to bed at 10 p.m. Which is exactly what I did this year. It was glorious. Until my neighbors decided to celebrate the New Year with fireworks for about 30 minutes. I mean, I get it. Shoot off a few fireworks. Ring in the New Year. But GEEZE, 30 minutes! I live in a family neighborhood with tons of young kids. So RUDE.
(Yeah I am a party pooper. #noshame.)
Anyway, I hit the 19 week mark and I am feeling really good. Better than ever so far this pregnancy to be honest.
So let's get to the update!
How far along? 19 weeks (almost half way there!)
Total weight gain: +4
Maternity clothes? A few, but mostly yoga pants and leggings are still doing me right.
Stretch marks? No new ones., still.
Sleep: It is still crappy. I wake up a lot to pee and struggle with insomnia a lot of times.
Best moment this week: Feeling baby girl kick a lot and FINALLY deciding on a name. (We think. ha)
Miss Anything? I'd give up my first born to be able to sleep on my stomach again. (JK, JACK!! Mommy loves you :))
Movement: Tons of kicks. She's a wiggler for sure.
Food cravings: Still on the pickle train. I have also been eating salads every single day. Also, how bad is Tuna for you really when you are pregnant because I want it. Every Day.
Anything making you queasy or sick: just heartburn. Gender: GIRL
Labor Signs: Nope
Symptoms: I've gotten a lot more tired again this week. But I've also been a little busier with the holidays.Belly Button in or out? Still in
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: Less moody these days. I was struggling with some depression-like symptoms for a couple weeks, but I am feeling a lot better the last few days.
Looking forward to: Our anatomy scan on the 7th.
I wasn't going to do any purchasing right away, but I couldn't resist buying this sweet little sleeper. I mean, come on, it's got hedgehogs all over it!
Luckily she's going to be able to use a lot of Jack's onesies and stuff when she's little, but I'll be totally honest, girl is going to rocking some over-sized bows and ruffles. Just gonna happen.
Lastly, I just wanted to share this pic. This is when I was 19 weeks with Jack. So much smaller!
And I was carrying way lower. It's so funny how this pregnancy is so different in a lot of ways. I am carrying way high this time around and getting bigger oh so much faster. yay! (not.) haha. Have a great weekend, everybody!
