I just realized it's been a little while since I did an update on my best little man! (Or as he calls himself these days - "I a man-boy," which totally reminds of me of "man-cub" from the Jungle Book. hahaha.
My man boy. :)
He's officially closer to 3 years old than he is to 2 and I'm trying not to feel sad about it. He sat on my lap this morning watching Saturday morning cartoons and I realized he still fits so perfectly in that spot on my lap. I don't know how many years left of those little boys snuggles I have, but I'll take them as long as I can.
Especially since these days he's decided to show me his spicier side. Boy, this kid has gotten some attitude. The other day I tried to take a picture of him and he flat out told me: "I don't want you to take any pictures of my cute face right now, mom."
Okay then...
So you'll understand why my posts are a little picture-lite as of a late. I always respect his wishes with photo taking. He's not in the mood? Camera goes away.
Still though, he's smarter than ever and never stops talking. Unless he's sleeping. Which is going better these days. He's still in our bed the majority of the time. I know, I know... I'm probably failing somewhere. But it honestly isn't bothering me. I think Daniel might be getting a little bit more sick of it though. :P

But seriously, how can I kick this sweet little face out of my bed!? :)
This kid has energy to BURN. Every day he's running outside, running through the house. "Wook at me, mommy! I'm super fast!"

And he is. It's hard to believe he was my itty bitty baby not very long ago. Time flies and some days I am grateful for it. Others, I wish to cling to just a little longer.
He's eating better. Well, I should say he's eating more food. Not more varieties of food, but more food in general. So that is good.
No idea how much he weighs right now but I bet he's finally reaching the 30 lb mark.
He's still about 60 percent potty trained. I am just not that dedicated to push it all the way yet. I've had a lot of things on my plate as of late, but starting next week, those excuses are gone. So underwear all the way it is!!
One little underwear tushy shot.
He's still crazy smart. He's mastered colors, shapes (even complex ones), counting to 40 unassisted, he's started playing with this preschool addition/subtraction game I have on my ipad. It's scary how good he is at math. Now THAT gene he sure didn't get from me. lol.
He loves his puppies, riding his bike, blowing bubbles all day long, making up adventures to go on, new places to explore. His imagination has just exploded the past few weeks. The stories he tells me and the stuff he makes up is so impressive and astounding. It's hilarious to listen to him. I love it.
Today he told me this whole story about how there were three witches in our room last night because they came out of the sky with the thunder (it stormed alll night last night) and how he chopped them away with his orange marker. lol. And then Bot, Geo and Milli from Team Umizoomi came over and we all played together and had fun. Bahahaha.
So pretty much he's just a regular two year old kiddo living life in the fast lane and I am so lucky to be his mama!
