Pumpkin Patch Kid

I swear the trend of visiting pumpkin patches in the fall continues to grow more and more each year. That said, my family did its part in adding to that trend Saturday when we visited Staheli Farms to get our overpriced pumpkin after we already paid a crap ton to get inside. Aside from my sticker shock, we had a really good time. Saw cows, goats, chickens and pretty much all your typical farm animals, complete with farm-fresh smell. Yum! (Ewww)

He wanted to feed them. Lol

Jack was totally on board to pet the animals. Rusty... not so much.

We also brought along my other brother Marvin and his wife Courtney (aka jack's current babysitter) and Dan's sister Genelle (aka Jack's very first babysitter), her husband Noah and Dan's baby sister Chauney (although her being a senior in high school probably cancels out the baby part, right?)

Marvin and Courtney :)

Noah, Genelle and Chauney :)

It was a super fun time with all of us. We petted animals, Marvin took jack on this weird slide and I lost my cell phone! Yay! I mean, yikes! I swear, I should just never be allowed to own a phone again. (Yes, this is the new (well used iPhone 4s) I got last week to replace my broken 5c.

Fortunately someone was super awesome and turned it into the lost and found. Whew! I felt like such an idiot, but so glad it was found.

Slide part :) haha.

Moving on... We then road the little trailer thing over to the pumpkin patch.

Jack wanted all the pumpkins and tried to pick them all up.

"Heavy!!"

It was fun.

Rusty got his pumpkin and I imagine we'll probably get more affordable ones at the store later.

Then we stopped at the food area for a snack before heading home. It was great.

Drink! We were soooo thirsty.

Oh and got this picture. Lol!!

All in all a successful trip to the pumpkin patch :)
