Jack's bday weekend!

Hey guys!

I am a few days late posting this, but I wanted to get it up on the blog anyway. We have to commemorate my kiddo turning THREE! I still can't believe it. Today he told my grandpa, "I'm free (three) now. I'm old."

Haha! Getting so grown up, my boy.

On Saturday, we finally got to celebrate. We refrained from doing a big party this year just because we are selling our house and I didn't want to have to worry about planning a big party and the clean up and everything that goes with that. We did in fact have a showing Saturday morning, so it worked out nicely that we hadn't planned anything big.

We ended up making a chocolate cake. :) Jack helped. Helped eat the leftover batter, mostly. ha.

Then he took pictures of his masterpiece. lol.

Then we opened presents along with Grandma Christy and Papa West before we went to the movie theater to see Zootopia.

Jack didn't nap this day, so I knew we were cutting it close taking him to a movie at 6:45. 

But I figured it was his first time in a movie theater and the popcorn and soda would keep him going through it.

But I was wrong. Ha. He totally fell asleep there at the end. 

He did love the movie though. As did I! It was really great. Awesome message. I highly recommend if you have kiddos to go and see it. Warning, there were a few "intense surprise" kind of scenes, but Jack handled it fine although he did get a little scared for a second here and there. But it wasn't too bad.

All in all it was a really great weekend, and we're off to a good start on the week. Feeling hopeful that we might get this house sold soon!
