It's a.....

Hey folks! 

Many of you have probably already heard our news if you follow me on IG or if we're FB friends. 

But for those who haven't heard...

We're having a baby GIRL!!!!

I thought for sure this baby was a boy. I really did. Jack did too. Haha. (Daddy, on the other hand, won the bet. Lol)

I thought Jack would be bummed to not get a brother but he seems really excited and keeps wanting to look at the ultrasound pics we got of sister.  

It's pretty cute. I'm so excited to see how they'll interact and play one day. :) 

She's smiling!!

Little lady was so shy during the scan. I wasn't sure we'd get to see gender because she kept crossing her legs at the ankles. Lol. Jack, on the other hand, was blatantly obvious about his gender while in the womb. Haha. 

In excited to go back in a couple weeks for the full anatomy scan to see how everything looks. Based on what the tech saw yesterday, everything is looking pretty good and she's measuring right on. The tech even commented about how well developed her facial features are already considering her young fetal age. 

 

I'll admit I totally teared up when I found out Jack is getting a sister. I remember having the same reaction three years ago when I found out I was getting a son. Both announcements just felt so "right" in my heart, to sound completely cheesy. Haha. 

I probably won't be buying any new baby clothes just yet however. I still have a slight paranoia that we'll go to the anatomy scan in a couple weeks and find out there's really a little brother in there. Lol. Even though the tech gave us her 100 percent vote it's a girl. I'm just weird. Lol!! 

Guess we'll find out for 100 percent sure here in a few months!
