We dressed up like the coolest Super family ever.
Jack rocked his little costume. A-freaking-dorable.
Rusty also rocked his costume as a biker dude. His choice. Awesomeness.
Dan stayed home to handle treat duty, which my other brother Marvin, his wife Courtney, Rusty, Jack and I hit the streets.
Jack picked up on the concept right away. He repeatedly requested to be the one to "bonk" the door bell. He then immediately would call out: "Tricktree!" Even if they hadn't opened the door yet. But, he was very polite. When they'd give him a piece of candy he'd say, "Thank you! Welcome!"
By the end of the night, he was telling everyone "Happy Hoween!" It was pretty much the cutest night of my life. He didn't want to stop! I tried to go home like three times, but each return home met a very angry toddler. So we kept going. Hey, more candy, right?
Overall it was a blast. Rusty had a good time too.
The rest of the weekend has been pretty laid back, which is nice. Today is the end of daylight savings in case you're not aware and ignorantly living an hour ahead of the rest of us. Just be sure you fix your clocks for tomorrow. Don't want to show up for work an hour early! To all you non-parents or parents with older kids, enjoy that extra hour of sleep. To all you parents of babies, toddlers or early risers, I can commiserate.
Happy Sunday!
