Adventures in Traveling: Part 2

If you missed my first post on how we got to the fabulous San Francisco, check out that post here. This is the fun post! You've probably seen all these pics on my Facebook or Instagram, but here's a recap of all the fun we got to have on our trip.

My BFF Nur had quite the adventurous trip planned for us. Each day we got to have lots of fun. There were a couple times when she was working during the day so Jack and I hung out at the park near here house. It was awesome. Jack had such a fun time hanging out on the playground and making friends.

He loves swings!

Jack also had a great time bonding with Nur and her husband Andrew.

He and I had so much fun walking around the city. Fun as in, my legs KILLED me after walking up and down those steep streets. lol.

Then we visited land of the best chocolate in the world: Ghiradelli Square at Fisherman's Warf where Jack got to eat amazing yumminess in chocolate form and also walk the beach.

We also visited this crazy old gaming museum. Had lots of fortune telling machines, which I wisely spent a few quarters on to learn I am going to be very successful someday! Oooh!

Slightly creepy.

We didn't get to spend much time downtown, but we went on a drive through that part of town and it was awesome. The buildings were ridiculously tall. I'm so not used to that level of overwhelming architecture living out where I do.

Then we were off through the Bay Bridge to the Oakland Zoo!

Where we got to see giraffes.

And elephants.

And zebras.

And hyenas. They are way cuter than I expected!

Goats. Jack looooved these in the petting zoo area. Too cute.

And bugs. Of course we saw the bugs. He's obsessed! This part was his favorite.

And monkeys of all kinds. This was my favorite part :)

On our way home from the zoo we were going to hit up this children's museum but we ran out of time. I did get to see the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time! Too cool.

Stay tuned for part three of our adventures in San Fran.
