I work a Monday, Tuesday and Friday schedule, so it's kind of like I get a weekend in the middle of the week. Glorious!
I picked Wednesday to highlight my Day in the Life Home Edition post because it's the day we have the most fun typically.
We start out much like I do on a work day at my favorite little man wakes me up around 7 a.m. with demands for good eatings.
Mah hair is awesome.
Then we wish daddy a good day before going and playing for a while in our jammies while Idrink a bucket of coffee get woken up and eat breakfast.

Then we play for a bit:
Around 9-10 a.m. I try and take a shower. Sometimes this is very, very difficult. You moms know. I've taken to bringing Jack into the shower with me and washing him too, but he's still a little freaked by the shower, so I try to only do that when he seems hysterical about me taking a solo shower.
After getting clean, I do my best to get ready. I give myself lots of time to do this because Jack really hates when I do anything that doesn't involve him.
At about 10:45 a.m. we load up in the car and head into town about 30 minutes away for our weekly Free2Feed (breastfeeding support group) meeting. I go a little earlier than I need to so that Jack, who will inevitably fall asleep in the car on the way for his first nap, can take that first nap before the meeting starts. I just chill in the car and peruse Facebook or read a little while we wait.
Look in the mirror reflection: crashed.
The meeting starts at 11:30 p.m. This is where all the fun happens. While I get to socialize with other cool mamas with young babies, Jack gets to check himself out in big mirrors and play with his friends.

At 1:30 p.m., we wrap up at the meeting and I grab a Jimmy John's sub before heading home.
Usually Jack falls asleep for nap two around this time. Especially if his first nap was not long enough. I usually end up waiting out this nap in the car with him just chilling in the garage. Good times :)
After he wakes up, I'll nurse him (if he didn't nurse at the group meeting, but he usually does. Got to breastfeed at a breastfeeding support group! It's like a BFing party! LOL)
If he's already nursed, I might feed him a little snack of puffs or some fruit.
Self feeding :) or so he tries. Lol.
If he doesn't nap on the way home, around 3 p.m., he'll go down for nap #2.
Then we play, watch Sesame Street (he LURVES Elmo) and read books until Daddy gets home around 5:30 p.m.

Next is hanging out with Daddy while mom makes dinner.
Finally we have bathtime before more reading and winding down before bed.
Playing with Bear Bear aka "bar-ba" before bed.
Bedtime sticks to the 7:30-8 p.m. schedule.
Around 9 p.m. is mommy time. I get to take a bath or read or do something to unwind. It's glorious.
It's difficult to say whether my stay at home days are more difficult or easier than my work days. It really just depends. They are both difficult in different ways, but I love my new schedule. I feel so lucky to have it all working out how it is right now. A big shout out to my hubs for supporting all of this. :D
