11 months!

Stop, time. You stop it right now. There is no way in Hades that I'm now writing the 11 month update for my itty bitty tiny baby that I just barely brought home from the hospital yesterday. No freaking way.

It's unreal, guys.

Fastest year of my life.

I love having an almost-toddler though, I have to admit. He's so fun and energetic and happy, even when he's sick.

Although teething is still our enemy.

Let's move on to his stats:

Weight: 21 lbs
Length: 30 inches. (guess)
Teeth: officially seven, but the eighth will be up any day
Food: His favorites are potato soup, chicken, peas and carrots and any fruit you want to give him
Diapers: Still mostly in cloth, but size 4 disposable.
Sleep: He's pretty much sleeping through the night only waking maybe once to eat. Naps are getting a little better. Just this week in fact he's allowed me to successfully put him down and leave the area twice! I'm hoping this trend continues :)

He loves:

His monkey.

His daddy.

His mama.

His "pup pup"

"What Does the Fox Say?" All music really... And Sesame Street.

So entranced by the Fox that he didnt realize he was lying on his back, which he hates! Lol.

He's so funny with some stuff. Like this morning, he woke up, sat up with a big grin you could see through the paci in his mouth and he started waving hello to his daddy. It was a melt-worthy adorable moment. :) He seriously is the sweetest boy. He loves to cuddle. He always offers to share his food and pacis. So generous.

He's been so vocal too! He says, dada, mama, nana, yes, no no, bear bear (sounds like bar bar, lol). He's so started screeching... Oh boy.

He loves to growl and "bark." LOL. Every time Newton barks, Jack tries to bark too, but sounds nothing like a bark. haha. And now that he's obsessed with "What Does the Fox Say?", he's all about trying to howl. It's hysterical.

He's so close to walking and spends lots of time standing on his own. I'm in no hurry though! I kind of feel like walking is the official transition from baby to little boy.

He's so much fun and it's crazy that I am trying to put together his birthday party already! I don't think many people (if any) are going to be able to make it to his party, but I am sure as long as he has a cake to smash, he is going to be totally fine with it.

I realize this post is a few days past the 11 month mark, so I can attest 11 months is a FUN, but rough age. Who knew babies started throwing tantrums so young. I thought we'd at least have a few more months before I saw any of that action. Lesson learned, hide all the remotes, distraction is your friend and "What Does the Fox Say?" is the best/most annoying song ever.

Have a great weekend, readers!! Also, Happy Valentines Day from my crazy little Love Bug :D
