On the plus side, Jack's first Christmas was a smashing success despite a little bout of the sniffles.
We spent Christmas Eve at my in-laws house and they spoiled him with a fun toy and lots of adorable onesies :D
Part two of Christmas was spent on Christmas day at our house, just the three of us. It was really fun! Jack really didn't understand why he was getting spoiled with lots of new toys, but he sure had fun playing with everything.
We then did Christmas part three in my home town visiting my parents and brother! My grandpa also made the journey with us. It was a little cramped in my tiny car, but Jack just slept most of the way, which was really nice.
Then he got to enjoy lots of new stuff from my parents too and play time with Belle, the family dog and my mom.
It was a whirlwind holiday, but it was such a fun time. I just can't wait until next year when he will better understand what is going on. It's so hard to believe that this time next year, I will have an almost-two year old on my hands! Whaaaat??
Today is New Year's Eve and I can assure you, I will not be awake to ring in the New Year tonight, but I still want to wish all of you a happy and blessed start to 2014. May all your wishes and dreams for this year come true and may you hold fast to your newly set resolutions and goals.
Happy holidays from our family to yours :D
