Days go by

Almost six days ago I was pushing my baby girl into the world. Since then, life has been magical, incredible, exhausting, draining and overwhelming. 

But mostly I can't put into words how much I love my sweet baby girl. I'll be honest, I was one of those moms who often secretly wondered how I'd be able to love anyone as much as I love Jack. 

But I do. Luna is so amazing. 

She's the female version of her brother and I'm overwhelmed with happiness and love for both my babies.

It's been a crazy week. Lots of sleepless nights, getting sick (Jack and I got the flu), hoping Luna doesn't get sick; relying on my incredible husband and mom for literally saving my life this week. 

Quick shout out about my mom, if you don't know her personally, you're missing out. She's one of the most amazing and selfless people I know. I'm so grateful she's been able to come and stay with us the past few weeks. She's done so much for us, I can't even tell you. 

Today is officially my due date. Ha! I'll likely have a birth story up on the blog here soon if you like reading such things, stay tuned. ;) 

For now, I'm just going to enjoy this beautiful Memorial Day Weekend with my family and hope you all do the same. Stay safe. Wear lots of sunscreen. Have fun. :)
