30 Week Bump Update!

I feel like calling this giant protrusion from the front of my body a "bump" anymore is just not accurate. lol. We've far surpassed the "bump" stage and have headed directly to hill, soon to be mountain, I'm sure. ;)

But it's all worth it. I am probably at the most stressed out stage of my pregnancy, just because we are a mere 8 weeks from full term and 10-11 weeks from when I actually expect to have this little girl. Our circumstances are just kind of uncertain right now with this move, so that makes me stressed.

However, I am getting really excited. I've been "nesting" for a while now, but it's in full force right now. I am trying to gather up baby clothes, gear, toys, etc. Even stuff I know she won't use for a while yet. I just want to make sure everything is put together and ready to go, regardless of where we live when it all actually happens.

I did this with Jack too. I just HAD to have his nursery done, if you remember that. Funny because we never ended up using it as a nursery. It eventually turned into Dan's office. ha. Now Dan's old office is Jack's playroom, still not a bedroom. But oh well. These hormones are just telling me to get our shiz together, so I'm doing the best I can!

So let's just get on to the update, okay? :)

How far along? 30 weeks
Total weight gain: +17
Maternity clothes? YES. Got my maternity stuff back from my sister in law PLUS some. I have some awesome sisters in law, folks.
Stretch marks? Not really yet. I have some from puberty on my sides that look like they wanna spread, but that's it. Whatevs.
Sleep: Starting to return to a little bit of the insomnia from the first trimester. Honestly, I think your body does this on purpose so you get used to being awake and alert for the eventual nighttime baby feedings.
Best moment this week: This weekend. Hanging out with my boys.
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my stomach. I can't wait to do that again.
Movement: Oh yes. Movement is a lot bigger. I have a few videos showing what looks like an alien about to burst forth from my womb. (graphic, sorry. ha)
Food cravings: water. I am so freaking thirsty.
Queasy or sick: Nope.
Gender: GIRL
Labor Signs: Just those fun old Braxton Hicks. Plus, I am 90 percent sure baby girl is head down now.
Symptoms: So very tired, frequent urination...like ALL THE TIME. Nesting, still. Hungry, but it's tough to eat a lot of food at once.
Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Wedding rings on or off? On (usually)
Happy or Moody most of the time: Getting happier. :)

I'm not going to sugar coat it, this pregnancy has been a really emotional time for me. My hormones are all over the place, our situation is crazy, but I am getting super excited to meet this baby girl. I even had a few thoughts this past week that those early weeks of re-learning to breastfeed and not sleeping a wink aren't going to be so bad. (remind me in 12 weeks that I said this, please.)

Mostly I am just really excited to see our little family of 3 become 4. I can't wait to see Jack grow and become a big brother. He's ready and excited for it. It'll be a tough transition all around, but again, it'll be worth it. :)
